What we do after glass breaks
Break-ins, storms and vehicle impacts can leave a storefront, entrance or window open to weather and intrusion. We assess the damage, remove hazards such as loose glass and debris, and arrange temporary protection where it is needed. Then we measure for permanent glass so the opening can be restored properly.
- Assessment of damaged glass, frames and doors
- Debris cleanup and hazard removal
- Secure temporary closure of the opening
- Measuring and planning for permanent replacement
Board-up is temporary protection
A board-up is a secure temporary closure. It helps protect your property from intrusion and the elements while replacement glass is measured and fabricated, but it is not a permanent repair. Permanent replacement timing depends on the glass specifications, fabrication, site access and the installation schedule, and we will explain what to expect for your opening.
Our response time
On-site response is typically within 48 hours. Every site is different, so please call to confirm availability for your location. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM.
Who we work with
Property managers and retailers rarely have time to coordinate glass, security and schedules at once, so we keep the next steps clear. We support property managers, facility teams, retailers and general contractors, and we coordinate with insurers and facility teams as the next steps take shape. If your building is managed off-site, send us the property address and a point of contact so we can plan the visit.
From temporary closure to permanent glass
Once the opening is secure, we replace damaged glass to match or upgrade your existing system. That includes failed insulated glass units (IGUs), cracked panes and code-required safety glazing such as tempered and laminated glass. We match existing tint, coatings, thickness and finishes wherever the system allows.
What to have ready when you call

Frequently asked questions
How quickly can you respond?
On-site response is typically within 48 hours. Please call 206-880-3041 to confirm availability for your location.
Is a board-up the same as a permanent repair?
No. Board-up is a temporary closure that protects the opening while replacement glass is measured and fabricated. Permanent glass follows once the specifications, fabrication and installation schedule are set.
What should I do while I wait?
If anyone is hurt or a crime is in progress, call 911 first. Keep people away from broken glass, do not try to remove large pieces yourself, and photograph the damage for your records and your insurer. Then call us.
Can you match the existing glass?
We review tint, coatings, glass thickness and safety-glazing requirements so replacement glass suits the surrounding system, and we match existing finishes wherever the system allows.
Which areas do you serve?
All of King County, plus Snohomish County through Marysville.
