Sheldrup Building Services Co. is a Washington State OMWBE-certified Minority and Women's Business Enterprise, WBE certificate number W2F0031341. Our certification
The Washington State Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (OMWBE) certifies firms for public and private sector partnerships. Our certificate number is W2F0031341.
What certification means for your project
Owners and project teams often set participation goals for certified firms. How a subcontractor's work counts toward a goal depends on the project's contract and the program's rules, so please confirm the details with your project's compliance staff. We are glad to provide our certification information and talk through scope so your team can plan.
More than a certificate
Certification is one part of what we bring to a bid. The rest of our qualifications are just as concrete, and you can put them in front of your project team or owner.
- WA License SHELDBS955CB
- EMR of .60 over the last 3 years
- Bonding capacity of $7MM+ for a single job and $10MM+ aggregate
- In business since 2004, based at 846 S Cambridge St, Seattle
- 500+ projects delivered over 20+ years
Glazing scope we can cover
Our work spans exterior and interior glazing for projects of every scale.
- Exterior: aluminum storefront, curtain wall and window wall, historic window replication, skylights, canopies and vestibules
- Interior: conference and office partitions, operable glass walls, frameless railings, art glass
- Repair: glass change-out, board-up and storefront entrance doors
How we work
We approach each project as a partnership, from initial consultation through takeoff, fabrication, installation and repair, and we have in-house fabrication capabilities. Our team works alongside owners, architects and general contractors with straight answers and no surprises. We take pride in details that outlast the project: square frames, true plumb and clean reveals. We also bring an energy-conscious approach to glazing systems and a serious approach to safety and sustainability.
Repair and response support
Certified or not, glass can fail after the project closes. If a building you manage has broken storefront glass or a failed insulated unit, our repair team handles assessment, board-up and replacement. On-site response is typically within 48 hours; call to confirm availability for your location.
Led by an owner who understands design
Our owner and president, Alicia Arsene, trained at the USC School of Architecture. Under her leadership, the company works as a true partner to architects and general contractors, and carries design intent out with precision from the first shop drawing to the final installation.
